Small Group Classes

Classes are small so that the teacher can get to know each student personally and adjust the practice to suit individual needs. The requirements and goals of each student are respected, enabling her/him to make gradual progress. Asanas (yoga postures) are mostly practised dynamically, sometimes in simple sequences, the movement being coordinated with conscious breathing. This helps the body to gradually become both softer and stronger, the breath to become easier and deeper, and the mind to become calmer and clearer. There is also some use of sound (voice), visualisation, pranayama (specific breathing techniques) and meditation exercises.
