Anna Sandle has been practising and
teaching Yoga for many years.
In the early 1990’s she was introduced to the teachings of T Krishnamacharya by Mark Whitwell and “The Heart of Yoga” by TKV Desikachar. Since then she has attended seminars given by TKV Desikachar himself and studied under teachers who have trained with him in New Zealand, Australia and at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. She is a certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in the Krishnamacharya tradition. Her final thesis leading to her qualification as a Yoga Therapist is on the effectiveness of yoga therapy in the long term treatment of a care seeker with cerebral palsy.

Anna also holds an M.A., a Diploma of Teaching and an L.T.C.L. She is married and has one son.
